How to Build a Brewery Private Event Package That Sells

More choices don’t always create more sales. Sometimes they create more questions.

Corporate planners want enough flexibility to build the right event without starting from scratch. Your packages should make decisions easier. In Cvent’s 2026 survey of 1,650 planners, 25% said researching venue specifications is the hardest stage of sourcing.

Start With the Event

Build packages around how guests use your brewery: corporate happy hours, networking mixers, team dinners, company celebrations and full or partial buyouts.

Then give planners clear options for food, beverages, space and timing. Don’t force them to design the event before they can understand the price.

Use Minimums Strategically

A food and beverage minimum can protect the brewery while giving the client flexibility. When the economics work, let the client’s spending count toward the minimum instead of charging for an empty room.

That makes the value easier to understand and aligns everyone’s incentives. It also helps you steer events toward the hours that need the revenue most.

Reduce the Email Chain

Every unnecessary question creates another chance to lose the booking.

Show planners what they need: capacity, photos, food options, beverage options, pricing structure, availability and the next step.

At Wye Hill, we’ve optimized our corporate event process in Raleigh around that idea. Guests get the character of an independent brewery. Planners get a page with the menus, the spaces and a way to price the event online. The event feels distinctive without making the planning complicated—which is where the return on a private event actually comes from.
