This October, step out of the ordinary and into a world inspired by North Carolina folklore at our dark apothecary sanctuary. Witch, Please! transforms our beloved Wye Hill taproom into a moody, spellbinding witch’s hut in the woods — where botanical alchemy, shadowy aesthetics, and high-proof craft mixology from our very own bar team come together for an unforgettable, immersive night.
For our first time in downtown Raleigh, we’ve curated a seasonal space for those who appreciate the finer, darker things in life. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick potion to revitalize your health or settling in with a group of your Halloween-loving friends for an evening of elevated witchy magic, consider this your official invitation to join us in the dark. A signature cocktail menu designed with intent, each haunted recipe is crafted with absolute precision, and from scratch, by Melanie Wiesen & Paul Wahlman. Sip on thematic “potions” infused with active-effect botanicals, rare herbs, house-made tinctures, and seasonal spirits designed to ground, uplift, and intrigue. A thoughtful elixir is known to keep the evil spirits at bay…
Exclusive Custom Mugware
Take a piece of the magic home with you. Our signature potions are served in custom ceramic keepsake mugs — available for purchase upon exit so you can keep the ritual alive long after spooky season ends.

Enjoy our taproom transformed, featuring high-quality decor surrounded by flickering candlelight, NC-inspired walls and backdrops, moody botanicals, and shadowy, witchy magic in the air. Contrast your immersive, spooky experience inside with an exit onto our welcoming, autumnal patio colored by the fall Raleigh skyline and cozy harvest theme.
Join us for Tarot Tuesdays!
Peer into your future while sipping on high-proof alchemy. Our taproom sets the stage for a mystical evening with a live tarot card reader ready to divine what’s in store for you. Pull a card, grab an elixir, and finish your night under the cozy harvest lights of our patio overlooking the city. Available Every Tuesday in October from 6:30pm – 8:30pm (Secure your time while making a reservation!).

Retail Mugs: Limited quantity custom ceramic mugware available for purchase while supplies last. Ask your server or bartender to pack one up in a signature black envelope for you to take home!
