That’s why we’re especially excited to announce our partnership with the NC Courage, one of the premier professional women’s soccer teams in the world, for an event that’s out of this galaxy.

On Friday, September 13, join us at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary for our unforgettable NC Courage Title Night, which also happens to be Star Wars Night. Not only will you get to see your favorite soccer stars in action, but you’ll also encounter beloved Star Wars characters and a lively atmosphere that only such a special event can offer.

As a locally grown brewery with deep ties to Raleigh and the Triangle, partnering with the NC Courage is more than just an opportunity—it’s a celebration of local pride and women’s empowerment. Our CEO & Co-Founder, Sara Abernethy, grew up in the Triangle, and her connection to the region’s sports culture runs deep. Having watched the progression of WakeMed Soccer Park from its construction to becoming the home of the Courage, Sara sees this partnership as a full-circle moment.

For Sara, the journey from performing at the stadium as a young girl to now collaborating with the NC Courage as a leader in the craft brewing scene is both personal and inspiring. She’s passionate about supporting organizations that align with Wye Hill’s values, particularly in empowering women in sports and hospitality.

We’re thrilled to bring two of our fan-favorite brews, Sky Child (a Belgian-style wheat beer) and Acres & Acres (a golden ale), to NC Courage home games this summer.
